Week 01

Zumba project is the topic allocated for my group by the first week of the semester. Ten members are in my group. So, to communicate and share the contents and ideas with the group members, we created a WhatsApp group on 14th of February 2022. 

Then we appointed one of our group member [Ishiniya Bogawatha] as leader as madam asked on 16th of February 2022.

Then we planned the project together through a WhatsApp call on 18th of February 2022. We had more than 1 and 1/2 an hour of discussion successfully on that day even some of us had face the network problem. Every member of the group conveyed their ideas regarding the project. At the end, we planned to conduct Zumba for undergraduates and Yoga for staff in department of applied nutrition.

Then we created a unique logo and name to our project on 19th of February 2022. The name is FitGo and the logo is given below.

 

Then we had a long discussion through zoom and WhatsApp for the SWOT analysis on 20th February 2022. 

Then we created the posters, google form links for registration on 21th of February 2022.

 

Week 02

Then we launched the face book group on 22th of February 2022. And invited undergraduates to register for the program by sharing a posture through face book and WhatsApp status. And also a google form link shared by us to registration. 

Then we uploaded  posters in social medias in order to attract the participants and stimulate the curiosity among the participants throughout the second week. Posters have attached as a collage below.

 

We gave the chance to the participants for registration up to 27th of February 2022 [Sunday of 2nd week]

Week 03

Then we created a whatsapp group with the participant on 28th February 2022. 

Then Introductory message and a google form was shared through the group to get an idea about their physical activity on 1st March 2022. and also the budget of the program also we discussed.

Then the post about the workshop was shared with the participants on 2nd march 2022

Then we prepared an education material that was included with how to fill the google sheet and instruction about taking measurement on 4th March 2022.

Week 04

For the 4th week we have discussed about the workshop to be conducted in an organized way. and we collected money from our group members in order to compensate expenses according to our planned budget.
